Ryan and I chased Scott Nydam up Trinity road with this poster during Stage 2 of the Tour of California. He had broken away from the field and had about a 5 minute gap when we got to run with him up the climb.
Congratulations to BMC on a great ride at the Tour of California. Alexandre Moos finished 10th overall and our guy Scott Nydam took the King of the Mountain jersey. Scott rode an incredible race, especially considering all of the obstacles that he had to overcome to get his mind and body on track for it. He went down hard a few weeks ago at the Tour of Qatar and then his dad was diagnosed with cancer. Here is an interview with him from the BMC racing blog :
